India is second most populous country in the world, with more than 1 billion representing 17.7% of the world’s population. By Land area its the seventh-largest country in the world. As per the World Population Prospects, 2019 by the United Nations, the population of India in 2020 is estimated at 1,380,004,385  (1.38 Billion) people at mid-year
