The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Muzaffarnagar Nagar Palika area for 2011 is 32622 people per sq. km. Muzaffarnagar Nagar Plaika administers area is 12 sq. km. & Urban Area is around 30 sq.km.


The average literacy rate of Muzaffarnagar City in 2011 was 79.80 %. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy was 84.56 % and 74.56 % respectively. Total literate in Muzaffarnagar city was 273,175 of which 151,713 are males while 121,462 are females.
