Mango is a city and a suburb of Jamshedpur city, Jharkhand.  It’s under Jamshedpur Metropolitan Area & Its a Municipal Corporation. Mango Municipal Corporation has the status of a ‘city’ according to the government though being part of the main city Jamshedpur.

As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Mango City in 2011 is 224,002 (2.24 Lakhs) of which the male population is 116,243 and the female population is 107,759 


The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Mango for 2011 is 12444 people per sq. km. Mango city administers area is 18.3 sq. km


The average literacy rate of Mango City in 2011 was 86.62 %. If things are looked out at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 91.56 % and 62.59 %. respectively. Total literate in Mango city was 169,548 of which 92,914 are males while 76,634 are females.
