Rudrapur is a city in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Its in Udham Singh Nagar district & located at a distance of about 250 km  northeast of New Delhi and 250 km  south of Dehradun. With a population over 1.5 lakhs, Rudrapur is the fifth most populous city of Uttarakhand.

As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Rudrapur City in 2011 is 140,884 (1.40 Lakhs) of which the male population is 74,276 and the female population is 66,608

The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Rudrapur for 2011 is 5100 people per sq. km. Rudrapur city administers area is 28 sq. km

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Rudrapur City in 2011 was 73.21 %. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy was 80.41 % and 65.17%. respectively. Total literate in Rudrapur city was 88,700 of which 51,407 are males while 37,293 are females.

SEX RATIO
