Christianity is the majority religion in North Macedonia and its followed by 60.44% of the population. Among Christians, Eastern Orthodox Christianity is the largest denomination with 46.14% adherents. Various other Christian denominations account for 14% of the population.
Islan is the second largest religion and constitutes 33.3% of the population. Most Muslims are Albanians, Turks, or Romani; few are Macedonian Muslims. The remaining 8% was “unaffiliated” or follows other smaller faiths.
