Jharkhand Population by Religion

Jharkhand  is the 14th most populous state of India and has a diverse population of many religions & communities. At the census 2011, out of 3.30 Crore population, around 2.23 crores (67.83%) have returned themselves as followers of Hindu religion, 48 lakhs (14.53%) as Muslims or the followers of Islam, 14.20 Lakhs (4.30%) as Christians,  and  4 Lakhs (12%) as Sarnaism. In addition 0.21% Stated as no religion and 0.3% are other religions.
