Telangana Population by Religion and Caste

Telangana is the twelfth most populous state of India and has a diverse population of many religions & communities. At the census 2011, out of the 3.52 Crore population, around 3 crores (85.10%) have returned themselves as followers of the Hindu religion, 44.64 lakhs (12.69%) as Muslims or followers of Islam, 4.47 Lakhs (1.27%) as Christians. In addition, 0.68% Stated No religion & 0.28% are other religions.
