Ratlam Population

Ratlam is a city in Madhya Pradesh state of India. It’s in the northwestern part of the Malwa region in Madhya Pradesh. Before the independence of India, it was also the Capital of Ratlam State. It lies 1oo km west of Ujjain &  130km Northwest of Indore City. As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Ratlam City in 2011 was 264,810 (2.65 Lakhs). The Estimated population of Ratlam in 2023 is 3 lakh.

As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Ratlam City in 2011 was 264,810 (2.65 Lakhs) of which the male population was 135,007 and the female population was 129,803.

The initial provisional data released by Census India 2011, shows that the density of Ratlam for 2011 is 6800 people per sq. km. Ratlam city administers area is 39 sq. km.

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of Ratlam City in 2011 was 87.88 %. If things are looked at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 93.09 % and 82.48%. respectively. Total literate in Ratlam city was 207,742 of which 111,921 are males while 95,821 are females.

SEX RATIO

With regards to the Sex Ratio in Ratlam, it stood at 961 per 1000 males. The average national sex ratio in India is 940 as per the latest reports of the Census 2011 Directorate. In the 2011 census, the child sex ratio was 922 girls per 1000 boys.

CHILD POPULATION
