Panipat City and District Population

Panipat is a historic city in Haryana, India. As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Panipat City in 2011 is 294,292  (2.94 Lakhs) of which the male population is 1,57,148 and the female population is 1,37,144

LITERACY RATE

The average literacy rate of  Panipat City in 2011 was  90.61%. If things are looked out at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 93.95% and 87.18% respectively. Total literate in Panipat city was 213,121 of which  119,650  are males while 93,471 are females.
