Udaipur Population 2023

Udaipur is a city in the state of Rajasthan in India. It was founded in 1558 by Udai Singh II  & also known as the City of lakes. Earlier it was the capital of Mewar’s princely state & became a part of Rajasthan when India gained independence in 1947. Udaipur is a top tourist destination and is known for its history, culture, scenic locations, and Rajput-era palaces.

As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of  Udaipur City in 2011 is 4,51,100 (4.51 Lakh) of which the male population is 2,33,959 and the female population is 2,17,141


The initial provisional data released by census India 2011, shows that the density of Udaipur for 2011 is 12000 people per sq. km. Udaipur city administers area is 37 sq. km


The average literacy rate of  Udaipur City in 2011 was 89.66%. If things are looked out at gender-wise, male and female literacy was 94.47% and 84.52% respectively. The total literate in Udaipur city was 361,498 of which 196,759 are males while 164,739 are females.
