The Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, comprises Members of Parliament (MPs). Each MP represents a single geographic constituency. In Tamil Nadu, there are presently 39 Lok Sabha constituencies, out of which 32 are for general candidates and the remaining 7 are reserved for SC candidates.
