The Hisar Police is part of the Haryana police & responsible for maintaining Law and Order enforcement in Hisar District & Hisar City. Hisar district police come under the Hisar police range of Haryana Police. Hisar Range is headed by the Inspector General of Police (IG).

District Police of Hisar is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP). He is assisted by Additional Superintendents of Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP ) and eleven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP).

Hisar District Police is further divided into different divisions & each division is headed by a Senior Officer. SHO/Police Inspector heads each police station.  Each Police Station has 2-3 Police posts under it headed by SI. Hisar District has 10 Law and order Police Stations, 1 Women’s Police Station, and a traffic PS.  Besides Law & Orde Police stations it also has other branches i.e. Cyber Cell, Crime, Traffic, Economic Cell, etc.
