Karnal is a city in the state of Haryana, India. It was part of the National Capital Region (NCR) & at a distance of 131 Km from Delhi. The city of Karnal said to have been founded by Raja Karna, of the Mahabharta fame, spring into prominence in 1739 when Nadir Shah defeated Muhammad Shah at Karnal.
