Christianity is the main religion of Sweden followed by 64% of the population. The majority of Swedish Christians follow The Lutheran Church of Sweden and account for 57.7% of the population. Other Christian denominations include Protestants (3.4%), Eastern Orthodoxy ( 1.7%), Catholics (1.2%), and other Free churches.

Non-Christian faiths account for 2-3%, and the remaining 33% are classified as unaffiliated, which can mean agnostic, atheist, or “nothing in particular.” Other religions are mostly Muslims, Buddhists, Hinduists, and Jews.
