The Rewa police is part of the Madhya Pradesh police and is responsible for maintaining Law and Order enforcement in the Rewa District. Rewa district comes under the Rewa police zone and Rewa Range. Rewa Zone is headed by the Inspector General of Police (IG) and Rewa Range is headed by DIG. Police. 

District Police of Rewa is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP).  He is assisted by the two Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) and five Deputy Superintendents of Police. The district is divided into numerous police circles, each headed by a Circle Officer.
