Population of Overseas Pakistanis
Pakistan has the 6th largest diaspora in the world, with 8-10 million people living or settled outside Pakistan. According to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and HRD report 2017, an estimated 8.8 million Pakistanis live abroad or outside the country.
The Middle East has the largest Pakistanis overseas population estimated at 4.7 million. The second-largest community, at around 1.5 million, lives in the United Kingdom; followed in third place by the United States.
