Rajasthan Population by Religion

Rajasthan is the seventh most populous state of India and has a diverse population of many religions & communities. At the census 2011, out of 6.85 Crore population, around 6 crores (88.49%) have returned themselves as followers of Hindu religion, 62 Lakhs (9.07%) as Muslims or the followers of Islam, 8.72 Lakhs (1.27%) as Sikh and 6.22 Lakhs (0.91%) as Jain. In addition 0.10% Stated as no religion & 0.17% are other religions.
