Mysore City Police or Mysuru Police is the law-enforcement agency of Mysuru City. It comes under the Karnataka State Police and is headed by the Commissioner of Police. He is assisted by 3 DCPs( Law & Order, Crime & Traffic, and City Armed Reserved Police) and five Assistant Commissioner of Police.
The Mysuru City Police consists of a network of foot patrols, mobile patrols, traffic patrols, and armed striking force mobile units in the city. Other units within the Mysuru City Police include the City Crime Branch, City Crime Record Bureau, Mounted Police, and City Armed Reserves. Mysuru City Police is divided into three ACP zones i,e Devaraj, Narasimharaja & Krishnaraja. Each is headed by an Assistant Commissioner of Police. Mysore/ Mysuru City Police consists of 17 police stations, and 7 Traffic Police Stations, including one all-women police station.
