Caste wise percentage in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, caste-wise population figures (excluding SCs and STs) are based on estimates, as the government has not officially enumerated most caste data since Census 2011. Broadly, Rajput’s are estimated at around 8-10% of the population. Trading and business communities such as Bania, Agarwal, and Jains together account for roughly 8%. Jats are estimated at about 7–8%, while Brahmins form around 5%. Among major tribal and OBC communities, Meenas are estimated at about 7%, Bhils around 5%, and Meghwal (Megh) and Gujjars approximately 4% each. Jatavs are estimated at about 3–4%, and Kumhars around 3%. Several other communities—including Mali, Khati, Daroga, Bairwa, Nai, Raigar, Thori, Balai, Yadav, and Rabari—generally range between 1% and 2% each.

Note: The Government of India has not conducted a full caste-wise enumeration (other than Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) in Census 2011. Therefore, OBC and other caste percentages are approximate and based on various independent estimates.
