The Tirupati Urban police is part of the Andhra Pradesh police & responsible for maintaining Law and Order enforcement in Tirupati City and urban areas. Tirupati Urban comes under the Rayalseema Region & Anantpur range of Andhra Pradesh. 

Tirupati Urban Police is headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP).  He is assisted by the Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) and seven Deputy Superintendents of Police. Police Stations in Tirupati Urban are divided into subdivisions each headed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police.
