The Warangal Police is part of the Telangana police & responsible for maintaining Law and Order enforcement in districts of Warangal. Warangal Police Commissionerate is responsible for the districts of Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, and Jangaon. Warangal District has a Police Commissionerate system & it’s headed by the commissioner of Police. Commissioner of Police & assisted by additional Commissioner & Joint Commissioner of Police.
Warangal Police is divided into 3 zones i.e Central, East & West. Each Zone is under the charge of the Deputy Commissioner of Police. Zones are further divided into divisions. Each Division is headed by ACP. There are a total of 45 law & Order Police Stations under Warangal Police.
Warangal Urban District & three urban cities (Kazipet, Hanamkonda, and Warangal together known as Warangal Tri-City) have a total of 15 Police Stations including three Traffic & one Women’s Police Station. The List of Police stations in the Urban district is as follows
