Pakistan has the 6th largest diaspora in the world, with 8-10 million people living or settled outside Pakistan. As per the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and HRD report 2017, an estimated 8.8 million Pakistanis live abroad or outside Pakistan.

The Middle East has the largest Pakistanis Overseas population estimated at 4.7 million and UAE is the country with the second-largest overseas Pakistanis population after Saudi Arabia.  As per the estimates, the Pakistani Population in UAE in 2022 is  1,280,000 (1.28 million)

Pakistanis in United Arab Emirates

More than 80% of the UAE’s population is made up of expats. In 2021, the expat population is 8.92 million. The population of the UAE is more than 10 million. Pakistanis make up around 12.69% of the UAE population and are the second largest community of expatriates in UAE. The population of Pakistanis in UAE as of 2022 is 1,280,000 (12.80 lakh).
